Oldham County Recycling Center Remains Open During Construction
The Oldham County Recycling Center remains open and fully operational during the ongoing construction in the area.
Visitors should be aware that there is a slight change to the drop-off traffic pattern while construction is underway. Please follow posted signs and use caution when entering and exiting the facility.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation during the construction and thank you for continuing to recycle with Oldham County.

Recycling Center
The Oldham County Recycling Center, 3943 Jones Drive, La Grange, is a self-serve drop-off facility open from dawn to dusk, seven days per week. Staff is on site daily (except holidays and weekends) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Why recycle? Recycling conserves landfill space, energy, and natural resources. Recyclables are easily marketed and find their way quickly into new, usable products. Recycling sparks a powerful cycle of events that saves our environment and makes our community a better place to live.
All recycling activity in Oldham County is voluntary except in Oldham County Schools.
Options for recycling include:
- Public drop off recycling center offered by the County;
- Curbside recycling offered by Republic Services;
- Private specialty recyclers
