After serving for many years as additional office space for county government, the 137-year-old former Methodist Church building at 108 West Jefferson in La Grange has been remodeled into a community space (see photos attached). Features include – seating for 100, a mahogany frame for the 100-year-old picture of Christ, new audio and a drop-down video screen for presentations, a newly designed ceiling, pendant and special evening lighting for the stained-glass windows, a refurbished 1850 steeple bell and small prep kitchen. What is needed now is a new name for the building! Help us out by completing THIS SURVEY and be a part of naming the communities newest event space.
