Lobby Tree Decoration

For the past several years, Oldham County elementary art students have provided hand-made ornaments for the wooden lobby trees at the John W. Black Center.

This year, we are inviting all Oldham County children to help us decorate our trees. Click the links below for ornament templates to download. You may color, paint, bedazzle, and add your own creative flair! Decorate any way you wish, but keep the finished size of the ornament no greater than 4 in. x 4 in. to fit between our tree branches. We will add the twine for hanging the ornaments once you bring them to us.

Return your ornaments to the John W. Black Center, 1551 N. Highway 393, in Buckner before November 20, please, so we will have time to prepare them. The Center is open Monday – Friday from 8 am – 4:30 pm, or you may place ornaments in the dropbox on the north side of the building after hours.

Lobby trees will be up and decorated the week of November 30. Stop by any weekday to see your artwork! (Please plan to wear a mask when visiting the John W. Black Center.)
